Signature
ARAKU Signature coffee is sourced from the village of Kuthangi Thadeput in Araku Valley, where coffee grows under the shade of silver oak trees entwined with pepper vines. The rocky, well-aerated soil and elevation support the slow ripening of the coffee cherries, allowing greater flavour complexity to develop. Cultivated by farmers Boyi Radha and Simhadri, the coffee is grown alongside pepper, millets, turmeric, and paddy using regenerative agriculture practices.
Balanced and versatile, Signature is the perfect introduction to specialty coffee. Its flavour opens with notes of chocolate, green pepper, and cherry, followed by the delicate aroma of fine tea.

Harvested from coffee terroirs shaded by pepper entwined silver oak trees and nurtured by well aerated rocky soils. Terroir characterised by lots of rocks, and highest percentage of silver oak trees. A blend of washed and natural coffees.

Natural Process
Natural process, which yields our Signature, Grand Reserve, High Altitude and Micro Climate coffees. In the natural coffee process, the full cherry is dried prior to de-pulping. Natural processed coffee will taste fruitier and have a heavier body as the drying coffee beans absorb some of the sugars from the surrounding fruit.
Honey Process
Pulp-sundried or honey coffee is an eco-friendly process as it generates very little solid and liquid waste. The fruity and sweet notes of ARAKU’s Selection and High Altitude blends are due to the presence of mucilage in the honey-processed coffee. Here, the coffee skin is removed and the coffee is de-pulped to varying degrees but no mucilage is removed and it is sent to the drying yard. The honey process is a rare and unique system that is almost exclusively used by specialty coffee producers as it is simple, affordable and intuitive.
Washed Process
Early Harvest is a washed coffee — these coffees are prized for their clarity and vibrant notes. The coffee cherries go through the Columbian Penagos pulper that removes the sticky mucilage surrounding the coffee seeds, and the coffee is left to ferment for 18-24 hours. Then the coffee is washed in fresh water and sent to the drying yard — removing the cherry prior to drying allows the bean’s intrinsic flavours to really shine. In the semi-washed process, which is also used for ARAKU’s Signature blend, some of the mucilage remains and after fermentation, the beans are sent to the drying yard. The mucilage lends mild sweet and fruit notes to the semi-washed coffee.

Signature is sourced primarily from Ganjaiguda village, in Araku, Andhra Pradesh, which houses roughly 63 farmer families. The coffee grows under silver oak shade and a combination of fruit and forest trees.
The soil is characterised by its colour (dark brown) and its structure (lot of rocks).

Boyi Radha & Simhadri, are a small family of six, nurturing a coffee plot close to their home. Their primary income comes from coffee, and pepper comes a close second. Pepper grows abundantly on silver oak trees that are prominently found in their village, Kuthangi Thadeput. In addition, they also cultivate paddy, turmeric and millets using regenerative agriculture practices.
Started my coffee journey with a 5 bar espresso machine trying to dial in the perfect shot with limited capacity of machine exploring different brands and types of coffee, after trying atleast 12 different coffees from 4 brands I must say Araku signature is one of the finest, the rich aroma, balanced flavours all of it combined makes it one of the best coffees I've ever tried. It would be great if you guys add a ziplock to the package XD:). Hoping to see explore the real flavours of the coffee as soon as I get my hands on a real 9 bar machine

This coffee stands out for its bold, chocolatey flavor with just the right touch of sweetness. It’s definitely more intense compared to something like Micro-Climate, but that’s what I love about it—it’s both rich and smooth. The clean, lingering aftertaste is refreshing and leaves a lasting impression.
As an espresso, it’s fantastic—deep, bold, and perfectly balanced. Each pull brings out the richness of the flavors, and the clean finish is a highlight. This is the coffee I turn to when I’m in the mood for something full-bodied and luxurious.
A good buy, coffee brewed using this has a nice fruity taste!

The aroma was incredible right out of the can—smooth, slightly chocolaty, with a gentle fruity note that felt really fresh. Once brewed, the coffee had a beautifully balanced flavor: mild acidity, a light sweetness, and a clean, silky finish with no bitterness at all.
What I loved most was how easy it was to enjoy. It felt refined without being too strong or overpowering—just a comforting, flavorful cup every single time.
The only disappointed is that once opened I had to shift the coffee into an air tight jar, I wish you guys atleast provide a plastic top cover to the can. Thank you.

I'm absolutely delighted with the Araku Coffee Signature beans! As a medium roast coffee enthusiast, I was drawn to this product's unique flavor profile. The tasting notes of green pepper, cherry, and dark chocolate truly shine through in every cup, with the green pepper being a particularly unique and refreshing note that I've never experienced in coffee before. After experiencing this unique blend, I was able to appreciate the subtle hint of pepper at the end, which i found woowwww!! The overall flavor experience is well-balanced and satisfying.
