Coffee 101: Coffee Mocktails, Shaken or Stirred?

ARAKU baristas and mixologists share tips and tricks for creating your own coffee-based drinks and mocktails. Play with your favorite ingredients and brewing methods to arrive at a bevvy you can call your own!

• Catch our barista prep a drink from scratch
• Learn the basics behind a cold brew
• Differentiate between cold and hot extractions
• We’ll address some frequently asked questions about cold brews, such as: Can any coffee be used to fashion a cold brew? What beans are recommended? How does one brew? What’s the ideal grind size, time and water temperature needed? How does one serve it?
• Identify the necessary elements to make a cold brew at home
• Understand ingredients, glassware and garnishes that pair well
• Make your own drink using ARAKU espresso or cold brew, with a little help from our barista and mixologist!
• At the end, you graduate with an honorary diploma in Coffee 101: Coffee Mocktails – Shaken or Stirred and snag ARAKU brewing equipment for 15% off on the day. Offer applicable at the cafe!

Workshop designed for six attendees per session to facilitate 1-on-1 learning.
